Prior to the Los Angeles Lakers-New Orleans Pelicans game, LeBron James was asked by ESPN about the idea of playing with Anthony Davis.
As James called the idea ‘amazing’ and ‘incredible,’ small market general managers are upset about the comments and believe he violated the NBA’s anti-tampering rule.
Since James did not feel well at shootaround, he eventually responded to the report after his third triple-double of the 2018-19 NBA season.
James doubled down on his recent comments about Davis and mentioned every other All-Star player he could think of, according to Matthew Moreno of Lakers Nation:
“Ask me if I would like to play with Kevin Durant.
