In the 127-101 win over the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James felt a ‘pop’ in his groin area and did not return in the fourth quarter for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Following an initial exam, James was reportedly viewed as day-to-day with a groin strain since the muscle remained intact.
Led by Ivica Zubac and Rajon Rondo, the Lakers stayed composed as the Warriors cut their 19-point lead to two late in the third quarter. As a result, Josh Hart expressed confidence in the young core if James ultimately had to miss games.
