The Los Angeles Lakers, who have lost seven of their last eight games, take on the New York Knicks, who have lost eight in a row, in an early afternoon game at the famed Madison Square Garden.
LeBron James figures to be back in the lineup after missing the loss to the Detroit Pistons due to “load management.” James historically has performed well on the Knicks’ home court, averaging 28.3 points, 7.5 assists and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 50.3 percent from the field in 26 games.
James is 19-7 in his career on the road against the Knicks, and has won 12 of his last 15 games.
