The Lakers' losing streak is longer than their total wins on the season. This is not good.
The Los Angeles Lakers matched a franchise-worst losing streak in a 101-82 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. They end January on a 10-game stretch of losses, looking completely out of sorts in every aspect of a professional basketball team. Charlotte was shorthanded, but against a Lakers team playing as poorly as this one is, they had more than enough to breeze through the game for am easy win.
It was all about three-point shooting through most of this one, with Marvin Williams feeding on the Lakers' defense for a team-high 17 points while shooting four-of-eight from deep.
