Los Angeles defeated Cleveland, 94-83, Thursday night and advance to play Brooklyn tomorrow in the summer league quarterfinals. Ivica Zubac scored the first basket of the game, and the Lakers never trailed against the previously undefeated Cavaliers.
Lonzo Ball once again set the tone for the Lakers, as the triple-double watch started early in the first quarter. Ball finished with 16 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks while sporting his third pair of shoes in as many games.
Kyle Kuzma was the leading scorer for Los Angeles, with 20 points on 14 shots.
