In the playoffs, it was a different story. In regular-season games, however, there was no place Kobe Bryant had a tougher time winning games than Portland, Ore.
Entering Saturday, Bryant had won just six times in the regular season as a visitor in Rose City, and the Lakers .194 winning percentage in those 31 games ranked as the worst in any of the 29 opposing venues.
Bryant, of course, holds the trump card against the city of Portland, having helped engineer the Lakers’ history-making fourth quarter comeback in Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals.
