Was Anthony Brown going to get another shot at sticking with the Purple and Gold? Were they going to pick up one of the recently released players? Were they going to call someone up from the D-League?
The latter was the most sensible conclusion, and Shams Charania of The Vertical confirmed the Lakers were going to call up a player from their D-League affiliate, the D-Fenders.
