EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Marcus Allen, it was announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released. In a related move, the team has waived guard Reggie Hearn.
Allen appeared in 43 games (23 starts) for the South Bay Lakers last season, averaging 8.5 points (.479 FG%), 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 20.9 minutes per game. Allen joined South Bay as a local tryout player and was a member of Los Angeles’ 2019 summer league team.
The Lakers roster stands at 20, including two two-way players.
