The Los Angeles Lakers cut their main roster down to 15 players, with a 16th spot being held by Alex Caruso and his two-way contract. The final cuts coming down from the front officer were Travis Wear, Briante Weber and Vander Blue, but they still had a two-way contract to give out.
The Lakers didn’t waste much time finalizing who that final contract belongs to, bringing Blue back into the fold, reports Shams Charania of Yahoo’s The Vertical. The reigning development league Most Valuable Player has been in the Lakers’ building for some time now, and he’ll be back to lead the freshly re-branded South Bay Lakers.
