LOS ANGELES – It’s a conundrum any kid who grows up to play for his favorite team is bound to encounter.
On Sunday, Lakers rookie Anthony Brown had something of an identity crisis.
“I don’t know when it’s going to change from (being a) fan to player,” Brown said.
The moment may have arrived 30 seconds into the Lakers 126-83 win over Israel’s Maccabi Haifi when Brown, who starred at Ocean View High in Huntington Beach, stood to the side and watched as Kobe Bryant buried a pair of free throws.
“I was like, ‘Oh, it’s real,’” Brown said.
