With Kobe Bryant’s retirement tour approaching it’s final stop, it is a perfect time to remember the Black Mamba for all he’s done for the Lakers faithful. From his 81 point gem to the 62 points in three quarters, Kobe treated fans to a spectacle on nearly every night.
That said, one of his last dominant performances came in 2013 a few days after Dallas Mavericks’ owner, Mark Cuban, suggested that the Lakers use their amnesty provision on Kobe Bryant to free up their future.
While that could have resolved some of the issues the Lakers are currently facing, no GM in their right minds would ever amnesty the best player to ever do it since Michael Jordan.
