Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo will undergo surgery to repair the fractured third metacarpal in his right hand, the team announced Thursday.
Rondo is expected to have the surgery by Friday after he was injured during Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
The Lakers expect Rondo to be out three to five weeks, a source told ESPN's Dave McMenamin on Wednesday.
