Lakers offseason news: Lil B puts a curse on D'Angelo Russell

The Los Angeles Lakers offseason had been going great. The team hired their top choice for head coach when they signed Golden State Warriors assistant coach Luke Walton to a five-year deal. Then they found out they would get to keep their first round draft pick and would select second overall. They also have the most cap space in the league to make free agent additions.

However, they may now be primed for some bad luck, if you believe in curses.

The team got lucky a few weeks ago when D'Angelo Russell narrowly avoided being "cursed" by rapper Lil B for recording a leaked video of Nick Young admitting to infidelity, but the man known as "the Based God" said he changed his mind during an appearance on ESPN's Sportsnation.
