The NBA paid Lakers fans back for vetoing the Chris Paul trade earlier last month, kinda. It was announced that Nick Young would participate in the three-point contest at All-Star weekend, making him the first Laker since Michael Cooper to compete in the shooting contest.
According to the Las Vegas betting site Bovada, however, Young is better off staying home. His odds of winning the three-point contest are only 17-2, as good as Wesley Matthews’ odds and only better than Kemba Walker’s 19-2 odds.Of course, reigning champ Klay Thompson is the favorite to win, with 7-4 odds of winning.
