Los Angeles Lakers media day took place on Monday as the Lakers look to bounce back from a pitiful 2021-22 NBA season in which they missed the playoffs. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook battled injuries all season and the Lakers fired former head coach Frank Vogel. This year, Russell Westbrook is ready to prove his doubters wrong in his second season witthe the Lake Show. First-year coach Darvin Ham has not said whether Westbrook will be starting or coming off the bench, but Russ says he’s ready to do “whatever it takes” for the Lakers to be competitive this season.
