Lakers News: NBA names Brandon Ingram to All-Rookie Second Team

Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram was named to the NBA's All-Rookie Second Team, according to a team press release. According to the Lakers, Ingram is the fifth rookie in team history to make the second team after Kobe Bryant and Travis Knight made it in 1996-97, Nick Van Exel was on the team in 1993-94 and D’Angelo Russell made it in 2015-16.

Ingram had an up-and-down rookie season, with plenty of eye-test evidence that he might one day live up to being selected second overall pick in the draft, but ho-hum averages of 9.
