After the San Antonio Spurs ended their four-game winning streak, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers quickly bounced back against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Following the 111-88 win, the Lakers are 16-10 during the 2018-19 NBA season and currently have sole possession of the fifth spot in the Western Conference.
Surprisingly enough, Los Angeles has not experienced much scrutiny in the media. Instead, stories like the Jimmy Butler saga dominated headlines until the Minnesota Timberwolves finally traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers.
When asked about Butler’s infamous practice with the Timberwolves, Kobe Bryant remarked that it sounded like something he would do, according to The Corp as transcribed by Spencer Lund of Complex:
“I think most of my teams would just call it a Monday,” Kobe joked (but not really) when Katz asked him if Butler’s practice was something Kobe would do.
