Josh Hart has won the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League Most Valuable Player award. This came after Hart, unsurprisingly, dominated Summer League and helped lead the Los Angeles Lakers to the Summer League Finals.
Hart was the 30th pick in the 2017 NBA draft that also got the Lakers Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma. Hart played well for the Lakers in his rookie year, gathering eight double doubles on the season, starting 23 games.
The 23-year old Hart, in his second year at Summer League, was only supposed to play one or two games. But with Hart playing so well, he requested to continue playing, which Magic Johnson approved.
