Most of the time NBA players are celebrated for their talent or displays of skill on the court, but it’s important to recognize their good works off the court as well. Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram offered one such opportunity when he donated a mural he made with the help of fans and artist Jonas Never at a Delta Airlines “Beyond the Court Event” to Covenant House California, a local homeless shelter for youths in L.A.
According to a press release, Covenant House California “provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked young people,” and after he donated the mural, Ingram took some time to play basketball on the courts the Lakers Youth Foundation and Delta renovated with some of the teens currently staying at the shelter.
