Since the Los Angeles Lakers won the championship in 2020, Anthony Davis has seemingly left his 3-point shooting in the past. After shooting low percentages following that season, Davis shifted his focus to being a dominant presence in the paint.
However, with a new head coach in JJ Redick, who was a sharpshooter during his NBA career, the was an expectation for the big man to shoot more 3-pointers. Previous coaches wanted Davis to attempt more shots from beyond-the-arc and it never truly materialized.
But this season seems to be a year where the Chicago native is going to take and make more threes.
