Fallout from the Jim Buss, Mitch Kupchak departure and Magic Johnson, Rob Pelinka hirings continued Thursday afternoon, as Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reports assistant general manager Glenn Carraro has resigned from his position with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Carraro has been with the organization since 2000 and was the Lakers’ cap guru.
As is the case in most front office overhauls, leftovers don’t last very long, especially when they’re as close to the prior regime as Carraro was to Kupchak and Buss. Johnson and Pelinka preferring someone they’re closer to is nothing new in this kind of process.
