Lakers News: Anthony Davis Expects To Play Against Kings Despite Suffering Sprained Ankle

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis exited the team’s Christmas Day thriller against the Golden State Warriors early after suffering a fluky ankle injury. Davis appeared to turn his ankle on itself during game action. He tried to play through it but ultimately had to miss the majority of the game due to a left ankle sprain.

Luckily, the Lakers went on to win in last-second fashion even without Davis. LeBron James was stellar and Austin Reaves had one of his best games — including the game-winning layup in the final seconds — to overcome not having Davis in the lineup.
