Andre Drummond had the best game of his Los Angeles Lakers tenure on Saturday in the team’s win over the Utah Jazz. However, the Jazz were missing their perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate in Rudy Gobert and their backup center in Derrick Favors. This left an undersized Ersan Ilyasova to cover Drummond.
Monday, with Gobert and Favors back in the lineup, Drummond did not nearly have the same level of success. He in fact struggled considerably to get things going on offense, finishing the game with eight points on 3-for-12 shooting and was a minus-15.
