BOSTON >> The Lakers’ losing bothered Kobe Bryant. So did the presence of Clippers forward and former Celtic Paul Pierce.
But Bryant’s frustration during the Lakers’ loss last week to the Clippers faded when he remembered the Lakers beat Boston in the 2010 NBA Finals for his fifth title. So, Bryant turned to Lakers forward Metta World Peace on the bench.
“‘Metta, I’m so damn happy we won that 2010 Finals because I’d be sick as (hell) sitting here,’” Bryant recalled saying.
World Peace felt the same way.
