EL SEGUNDO – An uncomfortable development that plagued the Lakers in recent seasons has made an unwelcome return – the injury bug.
Lakers forward Julius Randle (hip pointer) and Lakers guard Nick Young (sprained toe in left foot) are considered doubtful for Friday’s game against the Golden State Warriors (13-2) at Staples Center. Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell remains sidelined for at least the next two weeks after having a non-invasive procedure on his sore left knee on Wednesday.
The Lakers (8-8) already had enough to worry about after losing to the Warriors by 43 points on Wednesday night in Oakland.
