EL SEGUNDO – A former second-round draft pick struggling for a few games in his second season is not the sort of thing that typically prompts much concern.
That, however, is the curse Jordan Clarkson cast upon himself this season with consistent scoring and dead-eye accuracy from 3-point range. He has often been described as the Lakers’ best player this season and, yes, those conversations have included Kobe Bryant.
He ranks second behind Bryant in points, with 15.6 per game, and second in 3-point percentage (35.5 percent). He only recently ended a streak of 26 games of double-digit scoring.
