Kobe Bryant will likely sit out of the remainder of the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason games, and is officially listed out against the Portland Trail Blazers. He is expected to start running again Tuesday, and the training staff has worked to reduce swelling and soreness in his left calf, reports Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
If he sits out until the season opener on Oct. 28, Bryant will have averaged 13 points, 1.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 18.1 minutes per game while shooting 37.5 percent from three-point range and 44.
