The Los Angeles Lakers are listing D'Angelo Russell, Marcelo Huertas and Brandon Bass as doubtful in their game against Maccabi Haifa on Sunday. Russell suffered a bruised glute after jumping up to challenge Rudy Gobert at the rim and hasn't played since the hard fall.
The Lakers inserted Nick Young into the starting lineup against the Toronto Raptors. Lou Williams has been the primary backup guard with the absence of both Russell and Huertas, allowing him an opportunity to get comfortable as the sixth man for a new team.
Huertas was dealing with a hamstring issue during training camp, then missed the previous two games as he needed to travel to Vancouver finalize his immigration documents.
