How healthy are the Lakers heading into tonight's game?
Over the past few seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have suffered an injury epidemic, even leading the league in the amount of games their players missed due to injury last season. This season's training camp has seen a lot more of the same with Larry Nance, Jr. (back), Marcelo Huertas (hamstring), Jabari Brown (hand), Anthony Brown (shoulder), and Metta World Peace (calf) all missing time from various practices and games due to maladies.
Perhaps most terrifying for Lakers fans was the recent injury to rookie point guard D'Angelo Russell, who crumpled to the hardwood early in the team's recent preseason game against the Utah Jazz after attempting to protect the rim from Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
