NBA free agency begins on July 1 but the rumor mill is already churning now that the NBA season is officially over. Reigning Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams is an unrestricted free agent this summer and is could explore his options outside of Toronto. The Los Angeles Lakers are one of several teams that have "strong interest" in the scoring guard, according to Shams Charania of Real GM.
The Lakers are expected to be spenders during free agency, and certainly could be looking at depth issues in their backcourt.
