The Los Angeles Lakers have signed undrafted rookie guard Michael Frazier II to a partially guaranteed deal, according to Adam Silverstein of OnlyGators.com. Frazier averaged 12.1 points, 1.2 assists, and 4.1 rebounds for Florida as a junior during the 2014-15 NCAA season.
Eric Pincus of the LA Times reported that Frazier's contract includes $50,000 guaranteed, and that the guard will likely join the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the Lakers' D-League affiliate, should he fail to make the parent team in training camp.
Frazier will look to bring shooting to a Lakers team that was notoriously three averse last year (25th in three point attempts in the 2014-15 NBA regular season).
