Lakers fan, Rocket's James Harden reach settlement after alleged assault

LOS ANGELES - A settlement was reached in a lawsuit by a Los Angeles Lakers fan who alleged he was punched by James Harden after telling the Houston Rockets guard that Kobe Bryant was a better player.

Attorneys for Harden filed court papers with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Raphael stating that the assault/battery suit brought by Barak Golan was resolved. No terms were divulged.

Harden was riding in the back seat of an SUV leaving the parking lot of the Greystone Manor nightclub in West Hollywood on Nov. 3, 2013, when he rolled down a window and was recognized by Golan, who shouted to the NBA player, “Kobe owns your (epithet),” the suit states.
