Flea has become unlikely voice of the Lakers’s passionate fanbase. He’s among the most popular and outgoing superfans any professional team can boast. He’ll never be called faux or bandwagon as he’s suffered along with the rest of us through these trying times.
None of that, however, has not – nor should not – stop him from making a buck or two betting on a division rival.
On the Dan LeBatard Show Monday afternoon (6-4-15, Part 2: Minute 21), he announced that he made a $1,000 wager on the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Championship.
