The Los Angeles Lakers’ Director of Basketball Analytics Jason Rosenfeld will be stepping away from the organization for a position with the MLB after just one season with the team, according to Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus.

The Lakers hired Rosenfeld in October after Rosenfeld spent nearly four years with the league front office as their Director of Basketball Analytics.
