EL SEGUNDO – D’Angelo Russell will miss at least one game after suffering a nasty fall in Friday’s win against the Indiana Pacers.
Russell did not travel with the Lakers for Sunday’s road game against the Dallas Mavericks after being diagnosed with a mild MCL strain in his right knee and a strained right calf. He underwent an MRI Saturday morning, but the results of that test were not yet known.
The injuries were suffered in the opening moments of Friday’s 108-96 victory. Russell attempted to maneuver around a screen set by Julius Randle and tripped over Randle’s foot.
