The Los Angeles Lakers tried to get into a shootout with the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday at Barclays Center and despite a spirited effort in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, they lost 115-110.
Going into Tuesday night’s game, the Nets were ranked fourth in the league in 3-point makes (12.2) and they showed the Lakers why. As a team, the Nets shot 41.2 percent from behind the arc.
The three-guard tandem of Joe Harris, D’Angelo Russell and Spender Dinwiddie made life especially hard for the Lakers on the the perimeter, shooting a combined 9-20 from the 3-point line.
