Count Lakers coach Byron Scott as one of presumably many who plan to watch the Rams play once they relocate from St. Louis to Los Angeles. Also count Scott as one of the presumably few who won’t pledge their allegiances to the Rams despite growing up in Inglewood.
“I’m going to root for them when they’re not playing the Steelers and they’re not playing the 49ers,” Scott said before the Lakers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday at Staples Center. “When they’re playing other teams I’m not interested in, I’ll root for (the Rams).”
Why?
“I was a big Steelers fan from my elementary days,” Scott said.
