Before Kobe Bryant says goodbye to basketball, he still has a few more tricks up purple shooting sleeve.
Playing his fourth game in five nights, the 37-year-old Bryant scored a season-high 31 points, including a pair of jumpers in the final minute to lift the Lakers to a 108-104 win over the Washington Wizards, snapping a seven-game losing streak.
Bryant shot 10-of-24 from the field, but was 5-of-11 in the fourth quarter when he scored 12 of his 31 points.
The Wizards took a 99-98 lead on a pair of John Wall free throws with 1:08 remaining, But Bryant’s 3-pointer with 10 seconds later gave the Lakers a 101-99 lead.
