Considering their situation, this season both Russell and Randle have put up respectable numbers.
Randle is averaging 11.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, nearly a double-double. Russell still has a lot to learn, but he is currently averaging 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
That said, Russell is quickly understanding that the NBA has become a point guard’s league and is growing with each opportunity. Randle understands that versatility is a powerful weapon in the NBA and uses this to his advantage, whether it’s dribbling the ball down the court, or posting up for rebounds.
