Lakers announce workout with Rawle Alkins and five other 2018 NBA Draft prospects

The Los Angeles Lakers announced they will work out Rawle Alkins of Arizona, Jeffrey Carroll of Oklahoma State, Angel Delgado of Seton Hall, Kendrick Nunn of Oakland, Kelan Martin of Butler and Brandon McCoy of UNLV on Wednesday.

Alkins is the biggest name in this group, and as the 48th-ranked player in Jonathan Givony of ESPN’s list of the top-100 prospects in the draft, theoretically a very real option for the Lakers’ pick at No. 47.

The sophomore shooting guard averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists during his second and final season at Arizona, a campaign in which Alkins shot 37 percent from behind the arc and 46.
