Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram took time off the court this week to play Santa to several local children.
Ingram, 19, teamed up with six kids from the Santa Monica Police Athletic League Thursday for a round of holiday shopping at the Adidas store at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
Each child was given a $500 gift card along the opportunity to walk around and shop with Ingram guiding the way.
It was a slam dunk for the kids, who loaded up with sneakers, hoodies and backpacks for themselves and their families.
