J.J. Redick had just finished sinking one long-range shot after another at the Wednesday morning shootaround ahead of his Clippers’ game with the Indiana Pacers later at Staples Center.
He’d make 10 in a row, then he’d miss and be mad that he did. From one spot to another on the floor, boom, nothing but net.
It’s what Redick does best. But he told reporters that he can’t be at his best unless he has his wind, and after missing three consecutive games in mid-November with back spasms, it has not yet come all the way back.
