AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Kobe Bryant remembered the Detroit Pistons announcers and their most popular adage, the one that rang out time and again throughout the 2004 Finals between the Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers.
“For about a year straight, all I heard was ‘Detroit basketball’ in my head,” Bryant said Sunday after his final game in the Detroit area, a 111-91 loss to the Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
