Julius Randle is Lakers' lone bright spot in 103-93 loss to Mavericks

LOS ANGELES – You wouldn’t have known Julius Randle just played the game of his life, let alone against the Hall of Famer he’s spent most of that life watching.

“I’m not happy tonight,” Randle said after the winless Lakers lost 103-93 to Dallas. “(Need to) come out and play better. It’s a team sport. We’re trying to win. Obviously I knew I could bounce back.”

A game earlier, Randle had scored just three points in 18 minutes. On Sunday, he was everything to his team, leading the Lakers in points (22), rebounds (15), assists (four) and steals (four).
