What do you get the man with his own line of basketball shoes? For the Jordan Brand, a division of Nike, the answer was simply: more shoes.
But these are far from just any kicks. On Friday in Toronto for All-Star Weekend, Jordan Brand President Larry Miller presented Kobe Bryant with a full set of the 30 shoes that compose the Air Jordan line.
Named after Bryant’s friend and mentor, Michael Jordan, Jordan Brand considered the collection a retirement gift right before the Lakers legend’s final All-Star Game.
“The Jordan Brand is about more than basketball, it’s about leaving a legacy and honoring those who have left a legacy,” Miller said.
