Isaiah Thomas will miss the Los Angeles Lakers' next two games due to a sore right hip.
The team confirmed that Thomas will not play at Memphis on Saturday and Detroit on Monday, as reported by the Los Angeles Times and Southern California News Group.
Thomas has averaged 15.6 points and 5.0 assists since being traded by Cleveland to the Lakers on the trade deadline. The veteran point guard has played in a total of 32 games this season for the Lakers and Cavaliers after rehabbing a hip injury suffered last season.
Thomas was shut down after two games in the Eastern Conference Finals due to a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear.
