The Los Angeles Lakers are in desperate need of another point guard. How desperate, you ask? On Friday, when they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, Alex Caruso was the only healthy point guard on their roster and he was played through a right foot contusion. So, yeah: desperate is the right word.
The Lakers are hopeful that they’ll have their two primary ball-handlers, LeBron James and Dennis Schröder, back soon, but in the meantime, they have no shortage of people volunteering their services, and best of all, it’s not just Lakers fans looking for five seconds of game.
