Frank Vogel Believes 2019-20 Lakers ‘Really Good Team’ After Rewatching Games

Shortly after the Los Angeles Lakers defeated both the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers, the 2019-20 NBA season was suspended due to the coronavirus.

For a team with the best record in the Western Conference through 63 games, the timing of the suspension was not ideal but necessary during this pandemic.

With practice facilities set to be reopened on May 8, the Lakers reportedly are targeting May 16 as the ‘Safer at Home’ order may expire one day before.

Heading into the second month, head coach Frank Vogel has rewatched most games and made an observation, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN:

“Just watching the tapes, we had a really good team,” Vogel said.
