The Lakers are far from a team record this time, but here they are on another streak.
A winning one, at that.
The Lakers won their second straight game Thursday, beating the New Orleans Pelicans 99-96 at Smoothie King Center.
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers (11-41) with 27 points and, as in the win over Minnesota on Tuesday, his 3-pointers in the fourth quarters lifted them to the victory.
After making 5-of-9 shots for 11 points in the first quarter, Bryant missed six of his next seven shots before making 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to put the Lakers up 91-79.
