The Los Angeles Clippers have always been seen as Los Angeles' "little brother" professional basketball team. With the success of the Los Angeles Lakers before the Clippers even moved to Los Angeles from San Diego, combined with how horrible the majority of Clippers teams were until acquiring Chris Paul in 2011, this was somewhat unavoidable.
The Clippers have been much better than the Lakers the last few years,making the playoffs every year since the Paul deal, but the stigma of playing in the same building as a team that has the second most championships in NBA history has continued to follow the team despite their best efforts to cover up those 17 banners.
